Rita Spadola
Dancer and performer, Rita Spadola did most of her dance education abroad, where she lived and danced professionally for more than ten years, mainly in Paris and New York. Always interested in bodywork and alignment techniques, she developed and deepened her training studying Release Technique, Ideokinesis, Klein Technique. She trained as an Alexander Technique Teacher in New York with Joel Kendall from 1988 until 1991 (former teacher of ACAT-New York). Since then she has been teaching on regular basis.
Rita Spadola is a qualified ATI Alexander Technique Teacher (A.T.I. Alexander Technique International, USA). She attended the S.T.A.T. Summer School Course in London (July 1997). She has taught in the USA, in Switzerland, in France and in the United Arab Emirates. She directed workshops and taught individual lessons at the Academy of Music Pierluigi da Palestrina in Cagliari. She collaborates with music and theatre schools in which the Alexander Technique is part of the program.
To promote the diffusion of the Alexander method she organizes regularly lectures demonstration and introductory workshops for small groups.
She teaches in Cagliari on regular basis.
